Nipoflange refers to a branch pipe inclined at a 90 degree angle. It is a product made of a combination of butt welding flange and forged nipolet. Nipoflange was found to be a solid one-piece forged steel, rather than being understood as two different products welded together. The installation of nipoflange includes pipe workers who are welded to the nipolet part of the equipment to run the pipe and bolt the flange part to the branch pipe flange.
It is important to know that nipoflanges has various types of materials, such as carbon, high and low temperature carbon steel, stainless steel grade and nickel alloy. Most of the nipoflanges are made of reinforced type, which helps to give them additional mechanical strength compared to the standard nipoflanges.
