Characteristic:
1.B-3 alloy is a new member of Nickel-Molybdenum Alloy family. It has excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at any temperature and concentration. It also has good corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid and other non-oxidizing media.
2.Due to the adjustment of its chemical composition, its thermal stability has been greatly improved compared with the original B-2 alloy. B-3 alloy has a high resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion, knife edge corrosion and welding heat-affected zone corrosion.

ALLOY B-3 is a face-centered cubic lattice structure. The content of iron and chromium in the alloy is controlled to a minimum, which prevents the precipitation of NI4MO phase at 700-800 C, thus reducing the risk of processing embrittlement.

Applied field:
B-3 alloys can be used for all previous uses of B-2 alloys. When hydrochloric acid is exposed to iron and copper, it reacts with them to form trivalent salts of iron and divalent copper salts.
