Socket welding flange refers to the pipe end inserted into the flange ring ladder, in the pipe end and outside of the
welding flange. There are two kinds with neck and without neck. The flange with neck has good rigidity, small welding
deformation and good sealing, and can be used in the situation of pressure 1.0 ~ 10.0 mpa. Type B flanges for vessels
also belong to socket welding flanges, which are used for occasions with higher requirements for sealing. The socket welding
flanges can be checked according to integral flanges in design.
