Introduction

Elbow materials include cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, malleable cast iron, carbon steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics.

The connection methods with pipes include direct welding (the most commonly used method), flange connection, hot melt connection, electric fusion connection, threaded connection and socket connection. According to the production process, it can be divided into: welding elbow, stamping elbow, pushing elbow, casting elbow, butt welding elbow, etc. Other names: 90 degree elbow, right angle bend, etc.

 

Hastelloy C22, also known as alloy C22, is a multi-functional austenitic nickel chromium molybdenum tungsten alloy with stronger resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. High chromium content provides good anti-oxidation medium, while molybdenum and tungsten content have good resistance to reducing medium. This nickel steel alloy also has excellent oxidation resistant water media, including wet chlorine and mixtures containing nitric acid or oxidizing acid containing chloride ions. Other corrosive Hastelloy C22 has antioxidant acyl chloride, wet chlorine, formic acid and acetic acid, ferric chloride and copper chloride, seawater, brine and many mixed or polluted organic and inorganic chemical solutions. This nickel alloy also provides optimum resistance in environments where reduction and oxidation conditions are encountered in the process flow. This is beneficial in multifunctional factories, where this "unease" situation often occurs. This nickel alloy can resist the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the welding heat affected zone, so it is suitable for most chemical process applications under welding conditions. Hastelloy C22 should not be used at a service temperature higher than 1250 ° F because harmful phases can form above this temperature.
