Flanging refers to the forming method of forming a straight wall or flange with a certain angle along the closed or unclosed curve edge on the plane part or curved surface part of the blank by using the function of the mold. Flanging is a kind of stamping process. There are many kinds of flanging and different classification methods. According to the deformation properties, it can be divided into elongation type flanging and compression type flanging.
UNS S31803 is a medium alloy duplex stainless steel with prEN value of 32-33. Its corrosion resistance is between AISI 316L and 6% Mo + n austenitic stainless steel.
Dual phase steel is composed of martensite, austenite or bainite and ferrite matrix. It is obtained from low carbon steel or low alloy high-strength steel after critical zone heat treatment or controlled rolling. The typical yield strength of dual phase steel σ S is 310mpa, tensile strength σ B is 655mpa. Dual phase steel is used to manufacture complex components formed by cold punching and deep drawing, and also can be used as pipeline steel, chain, cold drawn steel wire, prestressed steel bar, etc.
