Introduction

UNS S31803 is a medium alloy duplex stainless steel with prEN value of 32-33. Its corrosion resistance is between AISI 316L and 6% Mo + n austenitic stainless steel.
Material characteristics
Due to the appropriate ratio of Cr equivalent to Ni equivalent, the steel still retains a large amount of primary austenite structure after high temperature heating, and the secondary austenite can be formed during cooling. As a result, the total amount of austenite phase in the steel is not less than 30% ~ 40%, so the steel has good intergranular corrosion resistance.
